AvalonBay Communities is a national leader in multifamily apartment buildings and a local gem to APAH’s residents. During their ‘Spirit of Caring’ month, volunteers from AvalonBay completed projects and activities that will improve the lives of our residents.

At Arna Valley View, AvalonBay hosted a book party and ice cream social. More than 30 kids came to read books (and take one home!) and have a treat.

Two little libraries were installed by AvalonBay volunteers at The Barkalow and at Courthouse Crossing Apartments. We know residents were ready to explore the new books.

At Buchanan Gardens and Courthouse Crossing, volunteers braved the rain to plant some flowers, and at Arlington Mill, new benches were installed in the lobby for residents’ use.
