Engage in varying outreach activities and community education. Speak up on behalf of affordable housing and the needs of low-income citizens in community forums, such as meetings of PTAs, civic associations, county commissions and/or other groups. Provide feedback to APAH on views expressed in the community, both positive and negative, that could impact APAH’s mission, projects or community relationships.  While not required, advocacy volunteers are encouraged to participate in other APAH activities engaging directly with residents to deepen their understanding of the needs, challenges, and capacity of our low-income neighbors.
