A Community Celebration During the Last Breezes of Summer
As is tradition, APAH is hosting end of summer parties for all residents. A cookout will be held this weekend for residents at Snowden’s Ridge and a summer luau brought together residents from all properties. The luau was held at Jennie Dean Park in Arlington and catered by Rocklands BBQ. Kids played hula hoop and tag, seniors socialized, and everyone ate fun treats like cotton candy and snow cones. Other activities included face painting, balloon animals, basketball, and a photo booth.
APAH administered a survey to gain feedback about its resident services, which entered resident participants into a raffle with prizes like gift cards, an electric griddle, and Bluetooth headphones. Staff from across the organization lent a helping hand at the luau and celebrated the summertime with residents. More than 60 families and friends of APAH joined the fun on a sunny Friday afternoon. Thank you to all volunteers!
