35 Stories for 35 Years
APAH was founded in 1989 by four couples – Thomas and Dolores Leckey, Bill and Rhoda Nary, Jack and Jean Sweeney, and Midge and Joseph Wholey – to address affordable housing needs and equity in Arlington County. Today, 35 years later, APAH has evolved into a regional provider of quality affordable housing and resident centered programming. APAH is proud to continue the work that the APAH founders started.
To celebrate this milestone, we are looking to our past and celebrating our future. Join us in sharing 35 meaningful stories from diverse perspectives about how far we have come, and where we are going.
