Children, Youth & Family Programs

APAH is a leading affordable housing provider in the D.C. Metro area; with more than 1,800 children calling an APAH property home, we provide a holistic resident services program to meet the self-identified needs of individuals and families living in our communities. Our Resident Services Coordinators work diligently to engage with young residents and provide relatable, fun activities that broaden their horizons and are culturally reflective of all residents.

APAH’s programs and resources support families in academics, health, and community relationships. Support APAH youth today.

Katie Cristol of the Arlington County Board
was a guest reader at Rock & Read.

To kick off literacy programs in 2023, APAH invited 25 second through eighth graders to attend a “Rock & Read” marathon. This fun-filled day of reading, dancing, and crafts encouraged our young residents to show off their love of reading. Each reader received a scholarship to participate in an after school or other extracurricular activity of their choice!

Your restricted gift will support APAH youth who call our properties home. Please use the form below to make a gift.
