APAH Partners with the Arlington NAACP for Get Out the Vote Effort

Ahead of this year’s November elections, APAH has partnered with the Arlington NAACP to go door-to-door at APAH properties to update voter registration and to provide information about early voting. Stellar NAACP volunteer Benedetta Kessel has led the efforts to canvass 6 of APAH’s Arlington properties – Gilliam Place, Columbia Hills, The Springs, Queens Court Parc Rosslyn, and Arlington Mill – with over 1,100 units.  Volunteers will also canvass Buchanan Gardens on August 29th and other properties throughout the upcoming months.

This year, we will elect local, state, and federal leaders who make critical decisions about planning and funding for affordable housing. To all our residents, supporters, and volunteers, please remember to vote! Check your voter registration status here. If you still need to register, you can do so here.
