Welcome! If you’re interested in being a potential resident in APAH’s upcoming Columbia Hills Apartments, you’ve found the right page. Here you’ll find information about the apartments, as well as how to submit a wait-list application for residency. Wait-list applications are not being accepted until spring 2018. Columbia Hills East: 1000 S Frederick Street, Arlington, VA 22204
Columbia Hills West: 1002 S Frederick Street, Arlington, VA 22204
Columbia Hills “topped out,” or reached its highest point of construction, in December 2017. Construction completion and tenant occupancy is expected for fall 2018.
Please note: the development is still under construction and interested renters may NOT enter the building or construction site.
How to Submit a Wait-list Application
We are not accepting applications until spring 2018.
Information about how to submit a wait-list application will be listed here no fewer than 30 days in advance of the first day that applications will be accepted. APAH recommends that those who are interested in renting at Columbia Hills sign up here to receive an email notification or check this page at least once a month to ensure information is not missed. Signing up does NOT add you to any list other than an email list.
Keep in mind, applications for residency at APAH properties are competitive, with many more applications received than apartments available.

- All units will be accessible; 13 will be Type-A accessible
- 10 apartments designated for permanent supportive housing
- Energy and water efficient building rated EarthCraft Multifamily Platinum
- Community room, used for resident services programs
- Underground parking and controlled-access bicycle storage
- Onsite Resident Services staff focus on resident health/wellness, education, workforce development

Residents will pay their own electricity (HVAC, cooking, lighting), water, and sewer costs. APAH pays for trash and recycling collection and water heating.
