The Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH) is a nonprofit developer dedicated to developing, preserving, and owning quality housing that is affordable and enhances the Arlington County community. APAH is the only nonprofit affordable housing developer to work exclusively in and for Arlington County.

APAH was founded in 1989 by four Arlington families committed to social justice. Today APAH provides safe, affordable housing for 955 Arlington households in 12 properties.

Arlington, VA (March 24, 2014) - The Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH) celebrated the grand opening of the 122-unit Arlington Mill Residences on March 24, 2014. This building is a partnership between Arlington County and APAH using the innovative concept of public land for housing.

Arlington, VA (February 28, 2014) - The Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH) today purchased the 101-unit Arna Valley View Apartments, preserving an affordable rental housing community in close-in this South Arlington location. With the purchase of Arna Valley View, APAH now provides housing to 1,218 Arlington households at 14 properties.

Arlington, VA (March 21, 2013) - The Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH) today announced it was awarded the prestigious Neighborhood Builders grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation. This signature award recognizes the outstanding overall achievement of a nonprofit affordable housing developer in Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. APAH received the award at HAND's 20th Anniversary Meeting on May 26, 2011.
